Lab Technician

This entry level position will conduct analysis of field samples for customer support and technical recommendation purposes.

Job Duties:

  • Learns the operations, calibration and maintenance of various laboratory equipment.
  • Conducts routine testing which provides experience and familiarization with Champion methods, practices and programs (analytical, performance, physical properties)
  • Interacts with internal departments in trouble-shooting problems with hardware, testing equipment, products and method of development.
  • Compiles, analyzes and correlates technical data and writes timely reports on analyses and projects completed.
  • Assists with preparing samples per customer’s requests.

Requirements - Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and writing).
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be computer proficient (capable of recording daily reports via Excel and email)
  • Able to pass drug, alcohol, driving, physical, and background check
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift a 50lbs or more at a time required
  • Valid work authorization in the United States.
